For $9.75 million, actor Clint Eastwood has put his 1928 Spanish Colonial-style estate at Pebble Beach, CA on market. The authentic farmhouse-style mansion is nearly 7,000 square feet and is encompassed with panoramic views from Point Lobos to Stillwater Cove. Its interior is also beyond stunning. Hold your breath and take a tour inside.
The massive 7,000 square feet house sits on a 4.7-acre fenced and gated land and has 6 bedrooms in total, and each of them is entered via a covered loggia that stretches around the courtyard.
The attractive property features Spanish elements that carry throughout the entire interior, as do thick adobe walls, iconic Spanish doors, terracotta roof tiles, and hand-crafted ornamental ironwork. It was designed in the 1920s by Clarence Tantau, a prominent San Francisco architect renowned for designing stunning architecture in Pebble Beach.
The entry on the driveway features enormous, hand-carved doors that were imported from Spain. From there, you can walk straight through to the secluded courtyard.
Upon stepping through the doorway, you'll see a charming open-air central courtyard featuring a fountain, canopied oak trees, and other greenery.
The living areas continue the Spanish theme, boasting high ceilings with exposed wooden beams, terra-cotta-patterned tiled flooring, and a large stone fireplace. There are french doors that lead to a stone terrace and expansive lawn and garden. You can also enjoy breathtaking ocean views here.
The Moorish decoration and the contemporary glass chandelier add charm to the living room. In reality, a few rooms of the house are decorated with glass chandeliers, and distinctive tiled floors.
The master suite comes complete with double vanities, a fireplace, a bathtub, and his-and-hers dressing rooms. It's also characterized by many alcoves that were custom built into the walls. With warm textures, the entire bedroom feels comfortable and relaxing.
The property has six bathrooms in total, and each is uniquely beautiful. This one with vibrant tiles is just one of them. Well equipped with his and her sinks as well as a spa tub, it's the perfect place to relax after a long busy day.
The dining room is characterized by high wooden ceilings, terracotta-patterned tiled floors, and a long shining table with a number of comfortable chairs. Eastwood has "hosted iconic dinner parties for artists, authors, dignitaries and musicians from around the world" here.
An elegant fireplace with two crane ornaments stands out in the corner of the dining room.
Beautiful beamed ceilings can be seen in the kitchen too. In fact, you can enjoy magnificent views of the 4.7-acre property from anywhere in the house.
Many rooms in the house center around intricately carved, Moorish doors.
The picturesque adobe also has an extravagantly built stone patio. It's surrounded by beautiful landscapes, and there, you can enjoy magnificent views of Carmel Bay.
Surrounded by lush greenery, the residence looks unassuming from the driveway.
The property was featured in Mrs. Eastwood and Company, an E! network reality show that ran for 10 episodes in 2012.
Eastwood, 90, lived there with his wife at the time Dina and daughters Francesca and Morgan.
The 1920s Spanish Colonial property is located in the California Riviera, close to Carmel by the Sea and the Pebble Beach Golf Links, which Eastwood and other investors bought for $820 million in the 1990s.
In addition to the 1928 Spanish Colonial-Style Pebble Beach Mansion, Eastwood owns a few other properties, including a new hilltop villa. It's a much larger, hacienda-style home at his privately owned, invitation-only Tehama Golf Club in Carmel.
