The Canadian soul singer Celine Dion just sold her Jupiter Island property for $27 million, a mere 7 years after she bought it. The sprawling beachfront estate features a private water park, and is replete with plenty of customised details. Let's take a tour inside this real wonderland!
Sitting almost 25 miles north of Palm Beach and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Bahamian-style property stretches to nearly five and a half acres. Besides several large pools, a lazy river and personal waterslides, the property also boasts 13 bedrooms and a private beach.
Furnished with low-profile cream sofas, the airy and beige living room feels restful and serene. Celine Dion is free to host friends here or just immerse herself in a good book.
A sense of ease carries throughout the whole mansion, just as you can see in this expansive dining room. Also, those vaulted ceilings and sliding doors make the room look even more spacious and at the same time offer picturesque outdoor views.
Complete with starlike twinkling recessed lighting, the kitchen appears to be lying beneath the night sky.
At the end of the kitchen is a round table, where Ms. Dion can enjoy a good breakfast with her family. And the plush banquette here helps add to the delightful vibe.
Two kitchen islands bask in the lighting of a row of pendant lamps in this sleek culinary station. The sauces inside those beautifully-lit cabinets make the all-white kitchen feel all the more homely.
Dressed in rich brown luxe furs with mirrored casegoods, the master suite exudes a sense of regency grandeur. Lying here, the stunning views of the Atlantic simply unfold before your eyes.
Much like the master suite, this bedroom also features a dark tone that's epitomised by that deeply-hued wooden ceiling. The shuttered doors here allow natural light in during daytime and shut it out to allow for a good rest in the evening.
Have a look at that dreamy closet, and you'll agree it looks like it's been plucked straight out of Clueless. Of course, it's equipped with electric racks and a revolving shoe carousel.
Considering the luxurious nature of the mansion, it's not much of a leap to imagine such a spacious bathroom complete with a deep soaking tub and a Kartell Ghost chair. Sure enough Celine Dion enjoyed taking more than a few bubble baths here.
Taking a nap on this French-style daybed is comfortable for anyone.
Nothing is better than enjoying your favorite film along with sweeping scenic views in a comfortable whitewashed media room, right?
Besides the large French style windows, large screens are a dime a dozen throughout the home.
The family even built an indoor arcade so that they can play table hockey, billiards, race-car arcade games and pinball games without venturing outdoors.
Take a walk outside, and you'll see an expansive pool that winds around five pavilions and two guest houses.
Sitting beside the pool isn't chilly even in the evening, since you can light up that cosy looking fireplace.
It may surprise you that the waterfront estate even comes with its own man-made beach. Seeing the reflections of the white clouds against the blue pool, it's easy to mistake the place for a paradise.
Here comes the most exciting area, a personal waterside! You can't ask much more on a blistering summer's day, right?
Besides the waterslide, you can also have tons of fun with that private tennis court nearby.
After waiting four years for $38.5 million and cutting the price nearly in half, Celine Dion finally found a buyer for her gorgeous home. After all, who wouldn't love this secluded waterside paradise?
