These celebs were once Hollywood legends, but now we don’t see them on the screen any more. Do you still remember these big names? Check out what Sean Connery, Tina Turner and Betty White are doing now.

1. Sean Connery - 89

The first James Bond actor was the heartthrob of many women. He was recognized as “The Greatest Living Scot” and “Sexiest Man Alive”. Now he is 89 and enjoying a comfortable retirement life in his mansion in the Bahamas.

2. Sam Elliott - 75

After 5 decades in the industry, Sam has built his status with notable works like A Star is Born, Tombstone and Road House. However, there is no sign of him retiring anytime soon. He is still active in various projects. Good for him!

3. Robert Englund - 72

If you are a fan of horror movies, you must be aware of Nightmare on Elm Street. Robert’s excellent portrayal of the villain Freddy Krueger was absolutely iconic. In the 2010 reboot of the movie, Jackie Haley replaced Robert as Freddy Krueger, but in all honesty Jakie couldn’t compete with Robert. In a recent interview Robert said he could being doing another Robert Englund movie. Great news!

4. Tina Turner - 80

Tina Turner is one of the best selling recording artists of all time, having sold more than 200 million records globally. The queen of rock and roll has been through so much over the years. Her son Craig Turner killed himself at the age of 59, but she has remained strong. She opened her own biographical musical set on Broadway in 2019 and kept her career alive.

5. Betty White - 97

Betty White’s legendary career spans over 8 decades. Over the years she has won numerous Emmy awards and a Grammy award. In honor of her contributions to the first woman-produced sitcom, Life with Elizabeth, she was named the mayor of Hollywood in 1995.

6. Sophia Loren - 85

Sophia Loren is a living legend from Hollywood’s Golden Age. She started out as a model at the age of 15 before veering into acting in the 50s. Her acting career blossomed after a multi-million contract offer by Paramount Pictures. Works like Two Women, Yesterday and Marriage Italian Style built her status as a prominent actress in Hollywood. Now we still see her on red carpet from time to time.

7. Brandon Routh - 40

Brandon Routh began his career playing the legendary superhero in Bryan Singer's 2006 film Superman Returns. After that he starred in Chuck, earning an IGN Award for Best Villain for his performance as Daniel. Now he has joined CW’s Arrow multiverse as The Atom.

8. Jennifer Love Hewitt - 40

Jennifer Love Hewitt was a household name in the late 1990s to the 2000s. Her performances in shows like FOX's Party of Five and movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer won her millions of fans worldwide. However, after playing Melinda Gordon on the series Ghost Whisperer on CBS, she decided to take a step back from Hollywood and focus on her family.

9. John Astin - 89

John Astin‘s portrayal of Gomez Addams in The Addams Family TV show won him a lot of recognition. It proved to a be a springboard to further success for Astin. Besides acting, he also makes a positive impact by lecturing young actors at the famous John Hopkins University.

10. Maggie Smith - 84

Everyone loves Professor McGonagall from the Harry Potter series, but you may not know that actress Maggie Smith has been in the industry for over six decades and has appeared in over 50 films. Her other notable works include Clash of the Titans, The Lady in the Van, and My House in Umbria.

11. Joan Collins - 85

Dame Joan Henrietta Collins is an aspiring actress as well as an author. Starting out as a child star, she made her debut in A Doll’s House at age 9. Later in her career, she portrayed Alexis Colby in the soap opera, Dynasty, which won her a Golden Globe Award. She has also written several books including the novel, Prime Time. She is still very active with her starring in American Horror Story in 2018 and in 2019 as a guest-star in an episode of Hawaii Five-O.

12. Michael Caine - 86

Michael Caine started his career 70 years ago, but his limelight did not come until the 1960s. Since that time, he has been unstoppable. He has collected an Academy Award, BAFTA and Golden Globe award and received several other nominations. In May 2019, Caine was cast in Christopher Nolan's Tenet, set for release in July 2020.

13. Willie Nelson  - 86

Willie is one unique multi-talented and versatile artist: He has released hit albums like Shotgun Willie and Red Headed Stranger; He has starred in over 30 films; plus he has also written a number of books. In 2018 Nelson was one of several artists on Restoration, a cover album containing various country renditions of Elton John’s works, on which he performed "Border Song".

14. Christopher Plummer - 90

Canadian actor Christopher Plummer has spent about eight decades in Hollywood. His role in Stage Struck brought him into the limelight, but it was not until he was 82 that he won his first Academy Award, a reminder that age is neither an excuse nor a barrier.

15. Honor Blackman - 94

Honor Blackman has given us many notable roles, including Cathy Gale in The Avengers and Bond girl Pussy Galore in Goldfinger, throughout her long-lasting career. Her most recent work was the ITV sitcom The Upper Hand from 1990 to 1996.

16. Richard Chamberlain - 85

Richard was a teen idol thanks to his role on the Dr. Kildare show. Later on, he featured in sensational movies such as The Thorn Birds and The Bourne Identity. He also starred in The Drew Carey Show. Now at the age of 85, he still looks good and appears on stage from time to time.

17. Brigitte Bardot - 85

They say Brigitte Bardot was Sophia Loren’s biggest rival. She has featured in over 40 movies as well as built a musical and acting career. Now, Brigitte has retired from acting and spends her days as an animal rights activist.

Christina Ricci was most famous for her portrayal of Wednesday Addams in 1991's The Addams Family. Later in her career, she starred in Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow and Monster. However, since then we haven’t seen her much on screen at all. She has instead switched her focus to voice work. She lent her voice to Alpha and Omega in 2010, The Smurfs 2 in 2013 and The Hero of Color City in 2014.

19. Jack Nicholson - 82

Jack Nicholson is the most nominated male actor in the history of Academy Award with 12 nominations. His legendary career includes various Academy Awards and six Golden Globe Awards. Unfortunately, after How Do You Know in 2010, we haven’t really seen him on the big screen.
